What brand of frozen patty is actually good?
I bought a pack of Patty King from the grocery store and the filling is just this weird mush that seemed like 0% beef...
Is there a frozen patty that's actually good?

Well the patty shops all sell their patties uncooked / frozen, not just freshly baked.
I just meant "what brand of patty that i can take home and cook / reheat whenever is actually good", not "which patty that must be sold at a grocery store is good"

Michidean on Birchmount and 14th Ave in Markham.
They used to sell cooked and uncooked frozen...not sure if they sell the uncooked ones anymore. They also used to give you a heated one when you were there...like a sample.

So there's uncooked frozen, are the cooked frozen too? Or cooked are like fresh (have to heat it up)?

Michidean no longer sells frozen as of Nov. 2022 according to a sign in their store. Went there a couple weeks ago and they only sell cooked room temp patties (and I didn't get a sample either).

Damaged / reject patties (e.g. torn or broken crust) they can't sell for normal retail or at take-out restaurants.

Slight mis-sized, mis-shaped, not quite closed end....ie second is a NOT PERFECT ie don't serve em to your mother in law unless you want a lecture about saving $2 /dozen. LOL

For that, one could buy frozen @ Grocery outlet for around $8-$10, but that store never reveals the brand name. ( https://thegroceryoutlet.ca/ )
They also have regular frozen overstock on clearance, but again, no company name attached-you really roll the dice to see what you can get. lol
I've never had bad patties from that place.
Sometimes there is a lot of meat and other times skimpy...but taste is still very good. (especially for the low price)
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
